Client Care Coordinator

Hi, I’m Marilyn.

I’m the Client Care Coordinator for Crown of Hope Counseling, and I’ve had the joy of serving alongside Dr. Nici since the fall of 2021, shortly after she opened the practice. I support all aspects of client care — from intakes and documentation to helping you connect with the right therapist, scheduling, and billing. My goal is to make your first steps into counseling feel clear, supported, and welcoming.

I come from a ministry background, and my husband and I have been blessed to pastor the same church for more than 24 years. Before joining Crown of Hope, I spent years in the banking industry and later transitioned into my own business as a virtual assistant. Each of these roles has shaped the way I care for people — with steadiness, kindness, and a deep respect for the stories they carry.

One of the greatest joys of my life has been helping prospective clients find the therapist who is the best fit for them. My husband and I adopted three boys from our state’s foster care system, and for years we met weekly with therapists who walked alongside us as we navigated the complexities of parenting children with high needs. Those therapists were a lifeline for our family, and I’m grateful to now help others find the same kind of support, hope, and guidance.

Although my role is part‑time, I check email and voicemail multiple times a day and respond as needed. If you have questions about scheduling, billing, or getting connected with a therapist, I’m here to help. You’re always welcome to reach out by email, phone, or text — whatever is easiest for you.

When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me…

You can usually find me spending time with my family. I’m a proud mom and grandmother, and I savor every moment I get with them. Whether we’re gathered around the table, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those are the moments that keep me grounded and grateful.
