What types of counseling services do you offer?

* At Crown of Hope Counseling, we offer individual counseling for adults and adolescents, couples counseling, and spiritual care integration for those seeking faith-informed support. Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and rooted in holistic care—addressing emotional, cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of well-being. Whether you’re navigating grief, anxiety, relational challenges, vocational discernment, or spiritual burnout, we tailor our services to honor your story and support your healing journey.

* Yes, when desired by the client. We believe spiritual formation can be a vital part of healing and growth. Our therapists are trained to integrate biblical wisdom, spiritual practices, and theological reflection in ways that are respectful, invitational, and never coercive. Whether you’re wrestling with spiritual questions, seeking soul-tending rhythms, or simply want your faith to be honored in the therapeutic process, we’re here to walk alongside you with gentleness and discernment.

Your first session is a time for us to get to know you—your story, your hopes, and what brings you to counseling. We’ll explore your goals, discuss any concerns, and begin building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and safety. You’ll also learn about our approach to treatment planning, which often includes SMART goals and interventions tailored to your unique needs. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; we move at a pace that honors your comfort and readiness.

Counseling is for anyone seeking clarity, healing, growth, or support. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply curious about your inner world, counseling can offer a safe space to reflect, process, and move forward. We believe every person is worthy of care, and we’re here to affirm your significance—not just your symptoms.

Chaplaincy care may be right for you if you’re seeking spiritual support during a season of grief, transition, illness, or emotional overwhelm. Unlike traditional counseling, chaplaincy focuses on presence, meaning-making, and soul care—often without a clinical diagnosis or treatment plan. You might benefit from chaplaincy if you’re wrestling with spiritual questions, longing for comfort in your faith, or simply need someone to sit with you in your pain without judgment or pressure to “fix” it. Chaplaincy is especially helpful for those navigating loss, caregiving, medical challenges, or spiritual burnout. If you’re unsure whether you need counseling or chaplaincy, we’re happy to help you discern the best fit for your journey.

Yes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions for clients across Texas. Telehealth allows for flexible, accessible care—especially for those navigating busy schedules, health concerns, or geographic limitations. Our virtual sessions maintain the same depth, confidentiality, and relational warmth as in-person visits, and we’re happy to guide you through the setup process if you’re new to online counseling.

Crown of Hope Counseling is a private-pay practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to provide personalized, values-aligned care without the limitations often imposed by insurance networks. Our session fees range from $50 to $175, depending on the provider’s level of training and licensure. We are committed to transparency and will discuss fees with you before your first session. For those with out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement. We believe that investing in your healing is a courageous and worthy step, and we’re here to support you in finding a path that honors both your care and your resources.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee, as your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. We understand that life happens, and we aim to approach these situations with grace and clear communication.
