Specializing in Young Adults & Refugee Care
Life as an adult can feel overwhelming: navigating relationships, career decisions, identity questions, and all the pressures that come with this season of life. I'm passionate about helping you figure out who you are and feel more confident in your own skin during these pivotal years.
Hello! I'm Abigail. You can call me Abbie. I believe every person has a unique story, and I'm attentive to how your past experiences, culture, and personal values shape who you are today. My approach is calm, compassionate, and rooted in deep respect for your story. I'm not here to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as we explore together what healing, growth, and self-awareness could look like in your life today.
Through our work together, I hope to help you cultivate a voice of compassion, curiosity, and care for yourself and for others, and grow into the most authentic version of you. Whether you're carrying pain, feeling stuck, or just curious about yourself, I'm here to support you, at your pace, in your story.

Refugee Care
I primarily use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and am committed to staying current with effective methods. I believe language is more than just words; it is how we express who we are and make sense of our experiences. Because of this, I value meeting people in their heart language. With advanced proficiency in Spanish, I am able to provide care integrating both Spanish and English. I hope this creates a space for you to express yourself in the way that feels most natural and authentic.
I have a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Tulsa, along with a Minor in Spanish. I am currently completing my master's in clinical counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. My past experiences include research at an inpatient treatment center for Eating Disorders, and three years walking alongside college students and young adults through my church's college and young adult ministry.
I currently reside in a neighborhood with several refugees from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Living here has shaped my heart for creating spaces where others of various backgrounds can safely process the challenges of uprooting and adapting to a new place. I carry a heart and burden to walk alongside those who are displaced and navigating a new life and culture, while grieving what was left behind.
One of the most important things to me about this process is building a meaningful connection with you. I believe it's from that place of feeling valued, seen and understood where some of the most beautiful changes can occur. I will begin by clearly explaining how therapy works, listen to your story without making assumptions, and from there we will figure out your goals together! If you are unsure about therapy, I am committed to meeting you where you are and moving at your pace. As we move along, I'll be honest with you and share observations in a caring and non-judgmental way. My heart is for our sessions to feel collaborative- like we are figuring out things together.
