Gracie England

Specializing in Children, Teens, and Young Adults

My approach focuses on the whole person—addressing not just your emotions or thoughts, but how everything connects: your relationships, your past experiences, your spiritual life, and your psychological well-being. I believe in creating a grace-filled space where you can explore your struggles and grow toward greater wholeness.

Meet Gracie

Have you ever felt stuck in patterns that just keep repeating—whether it's anxious thoughts that won't stop, conflicts in relationships that feel familiar, or painful experiences from your past that still affect you today? I'm passionate about walking alongside people who are ready to break free from these cycles and find real healing and growth.

I have a special heart for anyone experiencing grief or trauma. There's something powerful about having someone sit with you in your pain, help you make sense of it, and guide you toward genuine healing. I believe every person is uniquely created with incredible worth, and I love creating a space where you can wrestle with life's hardest questions while finding hope and encouragement.

What I Can Help With

I work with children, teens, and young adults who are dealing with:

  • Anxiety and worry patterns

  • Grief and loss of any kind

  • Trauma and painful past experiences

  • OCD and repetitive thoughts or behaviors

  • Relationship conflicts and communication struggles

  • Feeling stuck or unable to move forward

  • Questions about identity and life direction

I draw from different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-focused work, and person-centered therapy. I'm comfortable working with a wide age range—from young children (starting at age 3) to older teens and young adults.

My Background

I graduated from Texas A&M University with Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. My approach integrates spiritual wisdom with sound clinical practices, always delivered with respect for your individual beliefs and values.

Most of my hands-on experience has been working with teenagers through junior high ministry at my church, where I help lead connect groups and support kids through whatever they're facing. I spent time in college leadership, where I had the opportunity to oversee and support 200+ young women, helping them navigate various struggles and challenges.

How We'll Work Together

Building trust and positive connections is everything to me. When you feel safe, respected, and truly heard, that's when real change becomes possible. I believe in setting clear goals together and being willing to be open about the process.

I like to start each session by checking in on how you're doing and following up on anything we talked at our last session. From there, we'll focus on whatever goals feel most important to you that day - whether that's exploring thought patterns, working through specific situations, or processing feelings you're having. I might suggest some things to try between sessions, and I always want you to leave feeling encouraged and reminded of your inherent worth and value.

My Approach to Faith and Counseling

As someone pursuing Biblical Counseling, I believe that spiritual health and emotional health are deeply connected. I integrate biblical wisdom with proven clinical methods in a way that's thoughtful and respectful of where you are in your own journey.

If faith is important to you, I'd love to explore how your spiritual beliefs can be a source of strength and healing in your life. If you're questioning, exploring, or faith isn't part of your story right now, I'm still completely committed to providing excellent care that honors your values and beliefs. My goal is always to meet you exactly where you are,

When I’m not seeing clients, you can find me…

…you'll probably find me hanging out with my labradoodle Jordy (simply the best)!, spending time with friends, or exploring new places through travel. I'm an outdoors person and love soaking up sunshine whenever I can!
