I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who is passionate about walking with individuals through the moments in life that feel heavy, confusing, or overwhelming — the seasons when anxiety, trauma, or depression begin to shape a person’s story more than they want them to.
My clinical work began at Pathlight Treatment Center, where I spent three years facilitating therapeutic groups for individuals navigating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and OCD. I also completed my internship at the Irving Family Advocacy Center, providing individual psychotherapy for teens and adults facing a wide range of challenges — including childhood and sexual trauma, marital conflict, chronic illness, anxiety, existential questions, and struggles with identity or self-worth. These experiences formed the foundation of my belief that every person carries a story worth understanding, and that healing begins when someone finally feels safe enough to tell it.
I am especially drawn to working with individuals who feel weighed down by trauma or by the pressures of life — those who recognize that something in their story needs to change and are ready to take the courageous step toward growth. I consider it an honor to walk alongside clients as they begin untangling the beliefs, fears, and experiences that have shaped their lives, and to help them discover new ways of living with clarity, confidence, and hope.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the strength of the therapeutic alliance. I believe trust creates the space where honesty becomes possible — and where meaningful change can occur. Whether a client needs encouragement, support, gentle challenge, or simply someone to sit with them in their pain, I adapt my role to meet the moment. I often work from Adlerian, Gestalt, CBT/ACT, and Existential frameworks, integrating them in ways that help clients gain insight, regulate emotions, and make healthier decisions aligned with their values.
I enjoy working with teens and adults, and I am open to seeing clients as young as 11–12, especially boys. While my primary focus is individual work, I also have training in Gottman Level 1 and Prepare/Enrich and welcome opportunities to support couples and families as I continue growing in this area.
More than anything, I want my clients to feel understood, supported, and never judged. When someone feels safe enough to be fully themselves — thoughts, feelings, and all — healing becomes possible. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can explore your story, challenge what no longer serves you, and begin living a life that feels more whole, grounded, and meaningful.
I am grateful for every client who entrusts me with their story. Your courage and vulnerability are gifts I hold with deep respect.
In my spare time, I can usually be found playing online chess — a hobby I love. But mostly I cherish time with my family, finding grounding and joy in the relationships that matter most.
